In our specialist-housing department our advisors are able to advise and represent clients in a wide range of housing enquiries.  We are able to take on a small caseload of housing issues under the LSC General Civil Contract.

We can provide advice on tenants' rights issues including:

• Repair issues in private and public sector housing
• Terms of tenancy
• Tenant/Landlord conflicts
• Return of deposits
• Transfers and Allocations

We can also advise on urgent housing matters including:

• Homelessness
• Delays
• Harassment
• Rent or mortgage arrears

We maintain links with, and work in co-operation with, agencies, community groups and other organisations involved in housing issues.

We are able to prepare and undertake instruction of counsel in appropriate cases.  We regret that we are unable to advise landlords or agents on housing matters.
